IN VIETNAM ARE EXPORTING LESS HONEY DUE TO THE HIGH TAINS
The Central Highlands province of Dak Lak is likely to earn US $4.5 -5 million from exporting bee’s honey. This year due to early rain on a widespread scale, Dak Lak farmers have harvested only 3,800 tonnes of honey, down 700 tonnes compared to the previous year. However, honey export prices this year are US $200-300 higher that those of last year.

The person in charge of the Provincial Apicultural Plan into the Ministry of the Production, lawyer Jorge Melián, informed that the activity of sale of honey of producers in the province, represents an annual entrance to them of 1.000.000 of dollars. On the matter, Melián indicated that like part of the National Registry of Apicultural Producers, in Santiago del Estero they are had officially registered 486 producers and a total of 43,111 beehives.
