IN CHINA SIX BRANDS OF HONEY TAKEN OFF SHELVES DUE TO CHLORAMPHENICOL CONTAMINATION
According to the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, five of the brands are produced in the mainland and the other in South Korea. The move came after the Consumer Council tested 34 samples of honey and found six of them contained minute traces of chloramphenicol.

The Government reporter of the Canary Islands (BOC) publishes the Resolution of the Council of Agriculture, Cattle ranch, Fishing and Feeding of the Government of the Canary Islands by which it grants 4.444.005 euros in subventions destined to the benefit of services to the agrarian operations. Of the different activities that have deserved the approval emphasizes the relative ones to the acquisition of vegetal material, and to the acquisition of beehives of Bombus canariensis for the conservatory tomatos´pollination.
