BRASIL- QUEEN BREEDING COURSE IN RIO GRANDE DO SUL STATE
The South Beekeepers Cooperative (Cooapis) located in Rio Grande started a course for beekeeping on raising queen bees. The aim is to encourage the rearing of queens, to obtain higher quality honey and generating a greater profit for the beekeepers. According to Emater-Zootecnic of Rio Grande Reis Edson do Nascimento, participates in the course producers of the Municipality of San Jose North. The training course in theory develops in the morning,in the the Rural Union, and practices are being conducted by the agricultural technician specializing in beekeeping Ronaldo Clasin Maciel, from Pedro Osório. The course will run from 7 to 17 this month.

NICARAGUA- NEW HONEY COLLECTION FACILITIES
Some 38 families, San Benito, Cologne Roque, Chilamatillo, Brazil and Colama dedicated to the collection of honey benefited with the construction of two new collection centers for this product is located in the town of Tipitapa, department Managua. BRAZIL- HONEY TO REINFORCE THE FOOD IN SOROCABA COUNTY SCHOOLS
The school lunch of the municipal Sorocaba has begun to be reinforced by the provision of honey from last Thursday 6. According to the agreement reached by the Municipality and the Sorocaba and Region Beekeepers Cooperative (Coapis) for the first time were handed over 530 kilograms of honey for 21 schools. SPAIN- HELPS FOR BEEKEEPERS TRAINING IN GALICIA
The Rural counseling allocated 480,810 euros to be applied to consultancy and training, combat varroa, rationalization of transhumance and investments in equipment, in addition to supporting the repopulation of hives with a programme of native queen breeding. Applications may be submitted within one month. Beneficiaries can receive up to 50% of costs associated with the advice and training of beekeepers, training of staff of packaging centres and laboratories organizacións beekeeping, beekeeping techniques and disclosure.

ARGENTINA- MEETING OF THE APICULTURAL COUNCIL IN SANTA FE PROVINCE
