CHINA- LAW PROYECT TO ASSURE FOOD QUALITY INCLUDES TRACEABILITY
The government has drafted a new bill that sets prison sentences of 3 years to life for those food processors who commented serious infringements, producing food below allowable standards and becoming dangerous to human health. In addition, the new law provides for the introduction of a new system that enables the traceability of food and know when and where permits have occurred.
